About this service
Updated October 2026
Peninsula Blocked Drains is a local referral service for the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. It does one thing: when you have a drain problem, it puts you in touch with a licensed local drain plumber who works your suburb.
How it works
You send the quote form with your suburb and a line about what the drain is doing. Your details go to a licensed plumber who services your area, and they call you back with a price. Quotes are free, there is no obligation, and you deal with the plumber directly from there.
Why it exists
Finding a good drain plumber at short notice usually means calling around while water rises. On the Peninsula it is often worse, because the problem turns up when you have just arrived at a holiday house and have no idea who to ring locally. This site shortcuts that. The content here is written to help you understand what is wrong, what fixing it involves and what it should roughly cost, so you can judge the quote you get.
The fine print, plainly
Peninsula Blocked Drains is not a plumbing business and does not carry out plumbing work. Plumbing and drainage work in Victoria must be done by a plumber licensed or registered with the Victorian Building Authority, and for work valued over $750 that plumber issues a compliance certificate. Every job referred through this site goes to a licensed plumber. Price ranges published here are a guide based on typical Victorian rates, and the plumber's own quote is the price that counts.
